Now Accepting Insurance

January 31, 2017

Olo Acupuncture is now accepting health insurance from Blue Cross and Blue Shield (BCBS), Aetna, Cigna, United Healthcare (UHC) and others. Accepting health insurance opens up the healing benefits of acupuncture at Olo to more patients, as well as provides a better experience for our existing patients who have, to date, had to submit bills for reimbursement themselves.

Thank you to those patients who’ve made the request for insurance billing, as well as those of you who have so far been submitting your own insurance claims. We hope this change will offer you a better experience at Olo.

As you might expect, there are a number of rules and regulations that we must adhere to, and insurance appointments will be different from community acupuncture at Olo in that:

  • They will be held in a private room.
  • They must be scheduled with our front desk staff by phone or email.

Insurance appointments are currently available with Jane Terrana, Yuka Hagiwara, and Tracey Byer, and can be scheduled 7 days a week, with day and evening options. However, with the limited availability of our private room, we highly recommend that you book your insurance appointments as early as possible.

To get started visit our insurance page.

For questions or comments, you can always contact the clinic by phone at (212) 595-3432 or by email at info@oloacupuncture.com.
