Licensed Acupuncturist Julian Cho, Joins the Olo Team With a Queer, Trans, & BIPOC-Centered Shift

March 21, 2023

On Saturday, April 1st, Licensed Acupuncturist Julian Cho, L.Ac., will start a weekly Queer, Trans, and BIPOC-centered shift at Olo Acupuncture from 2-6 PM. Appointments are sliding scale, $20-40.

Seeing the “dire need for accessible health care and support within the Queer and Trans community,” Julian studied acupuncture as a way to help friends and community members. Julian loves how acupuncture is a way to communicate with the body, saying that “it centers the patient as a source of healing rather than a site of illness.”

With Julian helping to expand the community acupuncture shifts at Olo, Yuka Hagiwara, L.Ac., Co-founder and Clinic Director, says, “Julian’s gentle, thoughtful, and powerful treatments will be a great match for many of our patients. We’re so grateful to have him on the team!”

Julian graduated with a Masters in Acupuncture (MSAc.) from Pacific College in New York City and has been practicing in private and community acupuncture settings since.

On completing his onboarding process, Julian says, “Olo feels like a warm community that nurtures its members, each bringing their own unique light into the clinic setting.”
