With over a decade of experience in health and wellness, Dr. Joss Martinez, DAcCHM, L.Ac., is joining the Olo Acupuncture team this month. Joss, who uses they/them pronouns, will take over Saturday’s QTBIPOC Access Hours and Monday evening’s community acupuncture shifts.
Beyond acupuncture and its associated skills, such as gua sha, cupping, microneedling, and cosmetic acupuncture, Joss is also a practitioner of other modalities, including reiki, craniosacral, and biofield tuning.
Seeing the integration of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) as a natural evolution of their energy work practice, Joss finds joy in supporting individuals navigating various health challenges, including pain management, nervous system dysregulation, addiction, trauma processing, gender-affirming care complications, and more. Joss also embraces esoteric approaches to help individuals further connect with their innate power to heal.
“Joss is a highly skilled and versatile practitioner with an extensive background in the healing arts. They have a deep passion for community medicine, as seen through their experience co-founding and managing metaDEN, a healing incubator centering the Queer Trans and BIPOC community.” says Yuka Hagiwara, Clinic Director, “We are very excited to have them on board!“
